5 Helpful Steps Towards Becoming A Soul-Driven Entrepreneur

It Is In Fact All Rainbows & Unicorns!

I know, you probably think: “What on earth is she going on about?! The only thing soul-driven entrepreneurship and rainbows & unicorns have in common is that they are both incredibly hard to catch!”

But let me tell you one thing friend:

You can be anything you want to be.

Less than a year ago I was showing up each morning at my 5-days-a-week job, 8 am on the dot ready to do what I could to help my boss achieve his biz dreams. The entrepreneurial fire has been in me for years and I had made various attempts to turn it into magical fireworks… but never quite made it. It was soul crushing.

I knew there was something else out there for me, but I couldn’t think of a job title that would really light me up, one that would feel aligned and in purpose for me.

Then one day it hit me: I can create my own job description!! It’s true, it can be easier to create your own dream job than to find it. And this is what I did. Now I can share with you 5 things I’ve learned from becoming a Freedom Lifestyle Coach, doing things on my terms and living a life I am in love with.

5 Steps To Take Towards Becoming A Soul-Driven Entrepreneur:

1. BE AUTHENTIC

Don’t focus on what is “expected” from you or what others in your industry are doing. YOU are the boss, YOU make the rules. The best way to be really fresh in what you do and offer to your peeps is by being authentic, so stop overthinking.

Get out of your head and into your heart.

2. STOP COMPARISON

Stop the comparison game and own your worth! Celebrate others for their success and you will be celebrated too.

It’s only natural that we look up to others who are killing it in the industry and we wish we could just be there already too, but just remember that they also started somewhere!

It’s a process and right now you are exactly where you need to be. Keep following your intuition and you’ll reach your dreams, I promise. Comparison is dangerous and only holds you back, remember to focus on yourself and what you have to offer.

Ask yourself:

How can I provide my best value with what I have, where I am, right now?

3. SEEK ACCOUNTABILITY

You don’t have to do it all by yourself. Seek accountability and invest in yourself early on. I’m part of an amazing online mastermind group, I have my own private Facebook group for us freedom seekers and I have a coach as well! Seriously, hiring a high end one on one coach was the best thing I’ve done for my business so far!

Accountability is key.

4. FIND THE RIGHT PEOPLE

Seek the company of people who are doing what you want to do and get inspired. They say you are like the five most prominent people in your life. Now take a moment and think about who they are…

Are they people who lift you up and inspire you? Or is the opposite? If it’s the later, don’t panic but you will have to do something about it.

Make a list of people you would love to connect with, online or in real life and just reach out to them. Seek honest and nurturing relationships.

Having a group of people who are all marching in the same direction is priceless.

I also mentioned mastermind in the previous step, mastermind groups can be found online or in your community or you can start one.

5. STOP WAITING & GET STARTED

Start by starting. Ideally before you are ready! Let me tell you just one final thing, fear will never go away. You simply need to find a way to work with it and turn it into fuel. If your intuition tells you to do that thing, then go and do it now. YOU ARE READY.

For months I was paralyzed by fear. Fear of quitting my job and losing everything I had worked for, I allowed fear to sit in the driver’s seat of my life and guess what?! It sucked, I was unhappy and felt like life was just racing past me.

I realised that I needed to pull the handbrake and take things from there… I had no savings and no real plan but I knew what I wanted and I had the faith that it would work out.

So what is the worst thing that could happen by you taking that leap? Will you end up homeless under a bridge? Will all your friends and family turn away from you? Will you starve to death? Chances are that you can answer NO to all of these questions right?

You are smart, you can always find a solution if worst comes to worst. As long as you are acting from the heart and with true authenticity you cannot fail.

Hold on to your vision and trust that each hurdle you come by (there will be a few) is bringing you closer to your dream.

Bonus tip! A soul-driven entrepreneur makes room for spirituality. The more Rainbows & Unicorns the better. See you out there #gogetter!
