Chocolate Mousse Smoothie

Now, who doesn’t like a good chocolate kick? This smoothie is a great pick-me-up for those who want to skip the hot cocoa and opt for a healthier version.
 

An Energising + Healthy Chocolate Treat

Ingredients
Serves 1

1 small handful or almonds
1 small handful of cashew nuts
1.5 cups of almond milk
1/4 avocado
1tbsp cacao powder
1 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp cacao nibs

Not all of the ingredients are essential. So if you don’t have something in your cupboard, please don’t stress. Just play around with what you have. You can easily mix up the nuts you use, you can leave the chia seeds or cacao nibs if you don’t have them, or try adding cinnamon, flaxseed or maca powder.

Preparation
Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until smooth. Top with cacao nibs and chopped nuts. Don’t freak out about the avocado, it makes the smoothies nice and creamy. You wont taste it I promise!
